Lamentation of Ruin is a collaborative project between award winning Canadian composer Nick Peros and bass-baritone Robert Feng for voice and piano. This piece utilizes the only Biblical text describing Lucifer before his banishment from heaven, and later depicts the fall and its aftermath. This text is a Lamentation, a song of sorrow and weeping, capable even by the souls we have deemed most evil. Mr.Peros has an immense catalogue of repertoire spanning over 200 works ranging from symphonic, orchestral, choral, vocal, and more.
